Green Ghost
Slimer to everyone, but the 1986 box called him Green Ghost. The name hadn't stuck yet.

1986 was a great year to be a kid with a strong stomach. The Transformers film put Rodimus Prime in charge, Madballs and Battle Beasts turned up, and My Pet Monster came in handcuffs. We picked 25. Did you have them?
Good luck. These are our picks for the best toys from 1986: the robots, the monsters and the ones that came out of nowhere. Go through them one at a time and see how many you owned.
Slimer to everyone, but the 1986 box called him Green Ghost. The name hadn't stuck yet.
Another Zoid to build yourself, and another reason the kitchen table was off limits.
A big blue monster sold in handcuffs you could break. Parents had questions.
Squeeze his arms together and his neck stretches. Nobody needed to see that.
A rubber ball with a screaming face. Your mum wanted it out of the house by teatime.
Half man, half machine, and called Hacker back when that meant nothing to anybody.
The biggest of the Inhumanoids, and much too big for your toy box.
A villain with a star in the middle of his name. Nobody ever explained why.
A M.A.S.K. motorbike that turned into a jet. Your bike just had a bell.
Two heroes and two masks, but no vehicle. You'd have to ask for those too.
A space marshal with the strength of a bear and the eyes of a hawk. Brilliant at parties.

The all-bandaged version, in case the last one looked too healthy.
Press the lever on his back and he spins from the waist up. Keep your distance.
Skeletor, but with claws. As if he needed the help.
He could turn into a boulder. Great in a rock fight, not much use elsewhere.
A fish with a very confident name. Rub the sticker on his chest and settle it.
Starcom's bad guys were called the Shadow Force. They clearly got the better name.
It's a rock. Then it's a dinosaur. That was 1986.
Named after a playground rhyme, and made of rock. Words couldn't hurt him either.
Six GoBots that joined into one giant robot. Take that, Transformers.
Cobra's everyday foot soldier. You needed at least six.
A jet black Cobra spy plane. Your bedroom never saw it coming.
He had to follow Optimus Prime. Toughest job in the toy box.
Rebuilt by a planet-eating robot, and still only second in command.
One tank, and one fifth of Bruticus. Did you get all five?
