Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (1995)
Aaahh!!! Real Monsters was the Nickelodeon cartoon about three young monsters at a scaring school under a rubbish dump, and Mattel made a dozen figures of it in 1995. Ickis, Oblina, Krumm and the Gromble are the Main Characters, but most of the line was monsters you never saw on TV, based on toy inventor Mel Birnkrant's designs: the Featured Characters, the Water Squirters and the Inside-Out Flippers. Toy-only Real Monsters: Werfel, Scarfer and the Sproink and Groink two-pack. They began as Mel Birnkrant's own monster creations before Mattel turned them into Real Monsters.

Sproink and Groink came together in a two-pack, a pair of Mel Birnkrant monsters made for the toy line rather than the cartoon.
Werfel
Werfel never appeared in the cartoon. He came from toy designer Mel Birnkrant's own monster designs and was made only as a toy.
Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: Inside-Out Flippers
The Real Monsters Inside-Out Flippers, Haluga and Kaluga, turn themselves inside out. Haluga goes from blue monster to a pile of guts.
Haluga
Turn Haluga inside out and the blue monster becomes a gooey heap of guts.
Kaluga
Like Haluga, Kaluga flips inside out to show a second, nastier form. They're the only two in the line that do.
Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: Main Characters
The Real Monsters figures of the show's stars: Ickis, Oblina, Krumm and the Gromble. Mattel added them in a rush for Toy Fair 1995, alongside the toy-only monsters.
Ickis
Small, red and forever being mistaken for a rabbit, Ickis is the son of a famous scarer and the hero of the cartoon.
Krumm
Krumm carries his eyeballs around in his hands, and his scariest weapon is the stink from his hairy armpits.
Oblina
Shaped like an upside-down candy cane, Oblina is top of the Gromble's class and scares people by pulling out her own insides.
The Gromble
The headmaster of the monster school under the dump, the Gromble was drawn to look like a Blue Meanie from Yellow Submarine.
Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: Water Squirters
The Real Monsters Water Squirters: Poomps, Snarfle and Splug. Poomps sprays from the bumps on his back and Snarfle from his nostrils.
Poomps
Fill Poomps with water and he squirts it back out of the bumps along his back.
Snarfle
Snarfle squirts water out of his nostrils, or as the toy puts it, he blows his beak.
