Mattel sent He-Man into space with The New Adventures of He-Man, the 1989 relaunch of Masters of the Universe (MOTU) action figures that took He-Man and Skeletor to the future planet Primus. The first wave pitted He-Man's Galactic Guardians against Skeletor's Evil Mutants, with ships like Starship Eternia and Terroclaw in the vehicles and playsets, and the last figures arrived in 1991 and 1992. The line followed vintage Masters of the Universe and came a decade before MOTU 200X.
